2011 armada halo or 2010 volkl wall?

I can get the 10/11 halo or 09/10 wall from local ski shops but can't make up my mind which one would be best for me. I want to get the one best suited for bigger jumps. Don't care about rails, buttering or any all mountain performance.

Leaning towards the halo's because there lighter and they reduce any catching when spinning. But if they are not as stable on jumps maybe the walls.

Anyone skied both? or skied either and have some advice?

I weigh 86kg and 6'1. Was going to get the 182halo's or 185walls.

Sorry not many people would of skied the halo. Maybe some advice on the 2010 alpha 2. Pretty much the same.

if all mountain skiing, edge to edge speed, or buttering dont itrest you, i would go for the walls, since the early rise in tip and tail in the halo take some stability of ski when landing.
if you like carving into jumps, and a ski that has a very low swingweight, whcih the halo, because of the half cap construction and elf shoe technology has i would definately take the halo.
well maybe you can just demo them both and make your decision according to that.
i would personally go for the halo.just an awesome revolutionary ski, with a rad topsheet if that matters to you.peace

If you want the halo but like more jumps, you should also look into the armada alpha 1. Unless you can't buy that one.

Yep get the wall the rocker is deffinitly a disadvantage when landing on a jump. I don't think you would need a rockered ski if you only jump and don't do butters.

volkl walls are great skis for jumps, not sure about halos..

The walls sound like a safe bet and are cheaper so i think ill go with them.
