2011-2012 Afterbangs

So today I was at my local ski shop. I saw the new Abangs, and I had lst years (they were kinda shitty)

But the new ones seemed very different. They felt alot lighter, and a bit stiffer. Also the base felt different.

Anyone knows the difference between last years and this years?

They looked and felt much better. Just wondering thanks +K and everything...
 
Yes I am totally sure I wasn't looking at the Stepup, I'm not that much of a noob :)

Are you sure theu changed nothing, felt like a different ski to me..

At Lines website it says that the Afterbang weighs 1.600 gramms, which is 50 gramms more than the T-halls, which is pretty damn light...

I dont know the weight of last years though, but as I said previously, these years felt much lighter.
 
Maybe you got a little stronger and gained some muscle from carrying your abangs all last year?

Hahahaha must be that cuz I've been jumping ALOT at trampolines too.

But still weird, but I guess there is no difference!
 
Plus that they will get waterlogged which will make them even more heavy (2.500 gramms?!)
 
Also, you probably have binders on the ones you've been riding. The bases are different, with th new complicated base graphic, they've moved to a sublimated base from a die cut, but it's still extruded. Other than that, same construction.
