2010 volkl walls vs. 09s

anything change between the two years?did they get thick edges?and if nothing changed how did the 09s hold up?i went with armada cuz of fatty base but i still thrashed those and warrentied 2 pairs so im not looking to stick with them this seasonso what do you think?
 
I cant tell you something about the 09/10 but i had the 07/08 (warrenty them because front binding popped out), and now im riding the 08/09 i had them for about 25-30 skidays this season. they have like the same problem with the topsheet at the edges (chipping) like the older model. but you can break the edges and even when you dont its not a big deal. over all the ski is still in a good shape. overall i would gave it a 9/10 because it's a bit to stiff for me. i broke the edge (rails and boxes) 3 times but thats also not a big deal.

haha yeah it cool man im not worried about the chippng or cracked edges i just cant have peices of the edges falling out after 2 weeks hahaand the flex should be good for my im 6 1 180 and i think my ar6s are to softbut it you had pullout issues that is a problem for me cuz i had that issue on my armadasanyone else?
 
that "pullout" of my binding was because i did a tip stand and i heard a sound "chrrzzk" and i knew immeadiatly that it was something wrong, then i did it again and the back piece of the binding (sorry, it wasnt the front) popped out. but i think that was a mistake in the montage, from that guy, not a ski defect. and the binding is pretty shit too (marker free-serie). yeah i think in aspect of the stiffness it would truely be a better ski for you if you like it hard! :P

broken edges are just normal for me i think, but de sidwall is still in good shape.
 
As far as I know, the 2010 is just a new graphic. I have 2009's and they held up really well. I haven't heard of anyone having the pullout issues on the 2009's.
