Been looking at getting a pair of park skis this year mainly for big jumps. Cause i weigh 190 im looking for a light stiff ski was going to get the jo pro but the ace of spades have good dimensions and got a good rating for jumps in freeskier. They both have sidewall construction right?

Anyone tried these ski? anygood?

My friend who was about 6 foot 160 completely delaminated the J.O skis and they wouldn't refund him, I don't know anything about the ace of spades I'm just giving you a fair warning about the J.O's

This years JO Pro is sidewall construction (previous years were cap construction), so yes they are both sidewall. JO PRos will be lighter, but I think the AOS will be more fun. Tough choice, I'd probably go with the AOS personally.

The JOs will be sooooo much better than the nordicas trust me. They arent nearly as stiff as in years past but they arent straight noodles. I rode Jos/Bullets (same ski) and they are truly epic. They rocked in the park and outside too. super stable at speed, have great pop, you wont be disapointed.

I'd go JO Pro because symmetrical jump skis are stupid. That being said, everybody seemed to never shut up about AOS on demo day at Stevens, they're going to be good skis(people comparing them to other good skis still loved em). The old JO pros(09 and older) were loved by a lot of people for jumps, but did have some durability problems on occasion..but they were re-done for 2010, and if you have an obsession with videos of people throwing hard on huge jumps like I do you would have noticed Jon being on protos like all of this season, so I have no doubt those will be epic skis. Can't wait to try them, I'll do a comparison with my Pipe Cleaners when I do.

Thanks for that. So the j.o is no where near as stiff as the last years? How stiff would you say compared to the suspect or wall?
