it's a 250cc, they retail new for 4K or something, so it's a decent price.
And 250 is not too small, no matter what these idiots say. Hop on a 600cc sport bike your first time out and I hope you go down.

uh that was a pretty bold and ignorant comment to make. my first bike was a 600, and ive been riding two years now and havent gone down yet (knock on wood). if your smart you wont waste your money on a 250 because once you actually get the hang of riding and start to progress, you will get bored of it...

and hoping for somebody to lay their bike down because they got a 600 for starters is fucking stupid. thats some bad karma.
 
There is nothoing wrong with someone starting on a 250. I did and I like to feel it has made me a better rider.
 
Ya I really wanted one of these, I was saving up for one....then I blew out my WRX and decided to swap in an STi engine instead...oh well, maybe in a few years.
 
i mean as long as you enjoy it theres nothing wrong with that. i just didnt see the logic in spending almost as much money for a 250 than a 600. its not like the bike is going to make you use all of that power from the getgo. a friend of mine started on a R1, just because he has a liter bike doesnt mean hes gonna do the speed of sound his first day riding. as long as you know your limits and dont push yourself or the bike beyond your comfort level, you can ride anything and not die.
