2008 K2 Silencers

I had a pair of 06/07 silencers and I was really impressed with them for the price. For park its not really that great, but its an awesome groomers all mountain do everything ski. the narrow waist makes them rip and not nearly as heavy as the PE's. Top sheet chips like its balding but beyond that they held up to a beating
 
good for the price btu they chip like a canadian hockey players dentures and they are flimsyer than card castle in an icestorm, but pretty solid for groomers and acceptable in the park if you don't do anything too crazy
 
i still cant imagine this cuz theyre capped. my juvys stayed in great condish cuz of the cap. my p.e.s. on the other hand.....
 
Ask Matt Margetts about them. He rides them all year and I'm pretty sure he doesn't just ride groomers on them;)
 
hey thanks a lot guys... lol this is the first timei've logged in since making that thread nearly a year ago.... yea u guys were right... they chip allot but are wicked stable skis... i dunno tho for park do u guys think that 179s are kinda big? not tryin to sound like a puss, and i can still do pretty steezy 3s and rails, but fancy rail stuff is hard...
 
most people ride on around 175-185 depending on their high. i have 181s but i can do rail stuff just fine. how tall are you that makes a big diffrence how fast you can whip the ski around.
