Does anyone have any information/tips/warnings about this ski? I think i'm going to ride the 181s this year and i was wondering what they're like.

I've heard they're soft, pretty good for carving, etc.

any advice?
 
sick flex...but im my experience if you use them a lot you can notice the flex dampen. when they are new they butter and have such nice pop, then they butter even better jsut lose a little pop. really fun ski one of my favorites
 
the guy at my store was highly recommending them and couldn't stop talking about them. i'm getting the msps simply because i'm not parkrat and enjoy the rest of the mountain, but apparently the stls are awesome skis. go for it.
 
i have last years and after 50-60 days they lost a lot of snap that they originally had. great skis though, most lose their feel after that long anyway (yes there are exceptions)
 
alot of last years were built with Shitty epoxy, and ALL the first gen 1s had crap cores, and would loose life/reverse camber. the new ones are being built by elan thou, so well see.
