has anyone ridden the 2003 line mavericks.....if so what are they like...opinions.....

i demoed them at coc. nice. quite soft. i like. then i breakdanced and won a pair of skogens..ha.

they are a ski for the beginning freestyle skier that still wants to ski the whole mountain. They are super soft and don't have a huge twin tip like the rest of the line skis. They look crappy in my opinioin.

i personally like the ski... i skied them a bit in january... they are cheap but still pretty good... soft, i like them better than the 171 mike nick pro.

there worth demoing at least.. a good ski if you dont have much money.

damn, i rode the 2001 skogens at whistler and i could barely stand up on the damn things, they skied like shit, and its not that i suck even though it sounds that way. Is line stepping it up next season or what? Cause i think their skis look really cool.

 
i got the ....i dont know what year...not the ..oo skis i guess, i got the 00 skogens, the ones with the ship. i won them hehe

woot woot. I like the skogens. Thought they skied really nicely on hard-pack, ice and in about 5 inchs of pow. I really liked them. Could get decent enough speed just have to lean back a bit. It's all about adaption, a truely good skier can make any ski do what they want, you just gotta work a little harder.

how tall are yall on your skogens? i won them, and am still thinking i will use 12's this season.

problem:how much will the line bindings be? and will the new 1260's only be able to use the 4x4 instert pattern?

k, i dont remmeber the price of the bindings, but i i remember that there will be like 2-3 models, with different din settings, and like the lowest was like 200-250 or somthin (not accurate.. i just dont feel like finding the price agian) and about next years lines, you can like mount them with other bindings like any ski, but why would you want to? i say just keep the skogens and buy the line bindings..mount them, and the will be the last pair of bindings u will ever buy.

There is 2 models of the bindings, the Turbo 10 and the Turbo 12. The 12 has a higher heel DIN (4-12 instead of the 3-10 that the turbo 10 has) and it had high density suspension for a stiffer ski flex.
