I was thinking about bringing my liberty morphics and afterbangs up tomorrow, haven't really hit rails with the morphics since they are set back a little and I dont wanna scratch them. Is it really inconvenient to bring up two pairs?

Not really, just have to carry two skis there and back... If you mountains have cameras then you won't have them stolen, if you are worried about that.

i do it sometimes. i have my skis in my rack but when i get to the parking lot i throw the set of skis that i am not using inside my car just incase.

if i want to bring park and pipe skis i just put one pair in the ski check in the uppermountain lodge...bit of a pain to ski out with them but really not that bad

i do it almost on every trip it's only inconvenient to and from the mountain, if you go multiple days, bring a cable lock to lock em up so you don't need to move em :)i use something like this:

^^usually you can find something to loop it through at the heelpiece, if not, loop it through the brakes ...

dont put your skis together on a rack or whatever take them apart and put them in different areas, who wants to steal 1 ski?

The guy who takes your other ski from the rack and starts looking for another single ski to fill the pair... Use dem good locks to be safer.

i bring two purr's quite often.

do what everyone is suggesting, get a good lock.

or, if you have a car, just leave them in the car.

i also bought a ski bag big enough for two pairs, this makes transporting easy, and no one thinks youre stealing skis when youre walking away from the hill with two pairs.

Like you said, I would just use a lock if I were OP.

Except he does have a point about separating the skis though, I've done it before when I forgot to bring a lock. Just because if someone is going to steal your skis they probably will want to just grab both of them and go. They probably won't want to take one... then look around for the other and have a chance of the person they're stealing them from notice them.

I don't know, just a thought.

When I raced for my high school then went to freestyle practice I would have at least 4 pairs of skis with me (SL's, urban skis, rail skis, jump/pipe skis) I would just leave them locked in my Thule and would go to the car to switch them out, if I had to have 2 pair up at the same time (usually to have my rail and jump skis up there at the same time) I would just leave one on our team's jump site or put it in the race team's gate box.
