2 summers ago i learned 3's then 2 hours later i was doing switch 5's, it was weird. but thats awsome man, keep up the progression

i had one of those days today, it was so nice, it snowed about a foot and a half. we built a jump that was pretty big. i didnt ride away any of my tricks bescuase you cant really land switch in that much snow, but i was nailing these misty 5 safety grabs, and i was doing some flat spins. it felt pretty good. i love these kind of days

I landed my first 900 today, it was in a competition too. I was so stoked, landed it perfectly clean, not a flinch on the landing. Didn't win though, because the judges judged by distance rather than by the trick (and I only went 45 feet). What the fuck kind of big air competition judges by distance? It was just a goddamn huckfest. My first trick was a lui kang 180 (56 feet), and the second was the 45-foot 900. The winner was a guy who did an 80-foot mute grab and CRASHED, then did an 85-foot screamin' seamen, kicked his ski off in midair, and ate shit hardcore. He WON- and crashed on both of his tricks, while I stuck both of mine perfectly, and with mad style too (if I may compliment myself). No one else in the division even came close, one guy tried a 720 and crashed. I didn't even place. Fuckhead judges- WHO THE FUCK JUDGES A BIG AIR COMPETITION BY DISTANCE?

Sorry. Rant is over.

what the fuck that makes no sense, i think they were taking 'big air' to literaly. 85 feet is fucking huge though damn.

the worst thing is, thats basically what it was. We were all joking about how someone should have brought their cross-country skis and done some distance jumping, lol. There were no inverts allowed, either. So after the comp me and a bunch of other skiers hung out and flipped the jump, just to spite the judges.

Just to prove the insanity of it all- a sponsored snowboarder threw a switch corked 720 mute, and didn't place. It was the biggest snowboarder spin, and the only one to go off-axis.

thats sweet dude.....

um i usually have these experinces sometimes....but when i eat shit ill get discouraged and mop around all day complaining and yelling at people on the lift and they get scared and jump off and they die....just becuase i ate shit.....

but whatev it all good....

-my name is sirjibsalot i like to jib rails alot, curved ones, kinked ones, long ones, short ones, rainbow ones, and hand rail ones, because my name is sirjibsalot-

The jump was a medium-sized lip, and this huge wide landing slope down below it. The winning skier was the 82-ft screamin seamen crash guy, and the winning snowboarder busted a HUGE 100-ft nose grab.

thats the sweetest sounds air comp ive ever heard in my entire life...

i learned to 3 saftey and 3 in the pipe yesterday. and to grind better, but the rails at snoqualmie are way short, so they are easy.

ya man i did the same thing this weekend.... i pulled a d-spin 7 and 9 in the half pipe and a flare all in the same day i was sooo stoked man
