2 best skiers on the planet right now

Plus Tanner is shredding gnarly lines and droppin massive cliffs instead of just focusing on park. Gotta love riders that can rip the shit out of anything on the mountain

Depends on what disciplines you are talking about. You can't go calling E-Dollo and Seth equal, for example.They are very good in their own ways.
 
I think sammy C is the best overall skier.Pettit is the best big mountain skier

Brown is the best park jumper

Wallisch is the best rail skier

Dumont is the best pipe skier.

Thats just my take.
 
sammy. x games gold medal. destroys bc and alaska. does crazy urban. builds huge features on hood. triples. who can top that. petit or sage cant.
 
Jon & Sammy

both have outrageous capabilities in every aspect of skiing it seems -- I don't know how people overlook Sammy C... he's innovative as fuck in the park (not to mention his competition record), shreds BC, & on & on & on

Jon can jump with the pros, can race with the pros, and ski big mountain contests with the pros... all while making bank.

i don't really know, this is so hard to quantify, because of the amount of different styles out there today. there are so many skiers who are doing something that no one else is, and its basically impossible to say whose best
 
I dont mean to hate but yo anyone saying that sage is one of the best skiers on the planet right now seriously needs to reconsider that fact. Even when were talking his type of skiing, big mountain/AK shit. I can easily others who shred alaska and big country for with so much more style ...Hoji for one, that man is a fucking animal. Absolutely crushed it in both All i Can, and Attack of La Nina. And Kye peterson holy shit so young, so gnarly. That line at the end of All i Can was some crazy shit. So, not hating on Sage but there are definitely better choices to make
 
Petit is not the best big mountain skier. Best big mountain/backcountry combination skier, maybe, but best big mountain skier, not yet. He needs to put down lines like Seth, Sage, Hoji, before he is on that level.

Sage, Seth, Daron Rahlves, Hoji, Candide......There are lots of names that can be on this list.

I would add Richard Permin. He is one of the few guys who actually kills big mountain, and park. He has competed on the FWT, which says a whole lot. Watch The Way I See It, and you can see him ski big mountain lines with the likes of Kay Zackrisson, which many of the all-arounders, Sammy C for example, cannot do. In this years movie he was more featured, and just destroyed it. I don't know if anyone out there can ski big lines and dominate park jumps the way Permin does. He is someone who could have a career in either discipline. There aren't many guys like that.

Daron Rahlves is one of the best racers ever. He is also one of the best big mountain skiers on the planet. That might qualify him as the best skier to walk the planet.
 
Candide, then between Sammy and Tanner. All achieved at the highest level of competition, can rip anywhere on the mountain and they have all set-up some pretty crazy films projects of their own. Off the top of my head these guys have covered just about everything!
 
Candide is out of the game now, but will go down as one of the most amazing talented skiers that ever existed. True legend
 
Yeah true, Candide is out of the spotlight right now. Not out the game though! Will be interesting to see how the two year film project he is working on turns out. No doubt it will further confirm his position as one of the all time best
