2.5 Gh quad processor

holy shit man you need to change your icon, I thought you were steezepatrol. And I was how does he know that, he's a computer dumbass.

And yeah I was amazed when I saw them when they first came out.

this a mac we are talking about?

anyway AMD X2 is pretty sick. I prefer a faster single processor though, better for gaming/movie editing/rendering. AMD FX-55 motherfuckers!

AMD=Best gaming processors

Althought I love macs and I love th interface and liability, I think it's frustrating to upgrade them sometimes. Which is why I have my awesome iBook then I have uber mutant PC that I built.

When i first started editing, it was on a g4 w/ only 512mb of ram. I got my G5 this summer and upgraded to a gig of ram, and as far as editing goes, i dont really see why you'd need anymore. Final Cut never crashes, and rendering doesn't take that long. I mean, yeah it'd be nice to have 2 or more gigs, but how the hell would you ever need 16 gigs?

haha, i guess you ave a point. or just running programs like maya take more than a gig of ram to make it worth using them. and editing in high-def takes a ton of ram also i hear

I tried running:

Photoshop

Illustrator

InDesign

GoLive

iTunes

AND FinalCut Express

on my 512gig G4 iBook today. HOLY SHIT, it was SLOW

i'm running a amd athlon 64-bits 3500+ with 2gigs of ram and a gforce 6800 pro video card. let me tell you it's fast enough :)

No, I was refering to the iowascks guy, not your typo, hoo cares about typos.
