So i geuss there is pro and amatuer...what do you need to do to be in teh amatuer cause i can only do a 3 and don't relaly wanna be in the same comp as guys that are throwin 9s and shit

Enter anyways, because you'll get so pumped by others doing well you'll want to try new stuff. So you may come away learning a new trick or two. And prolly a lot more confidence.

well, last night at the pns big air, which is the first stop of the mwx, a cork 7 won the am...i'd imagine that probably the same type of stuff will be thrown since a lot of the kids from pns are making the trip up to mad river for the big air and rails

Oh yeah. all the details are at www.midwestx.com (as they said above). and as far as rails go..... i don't think there are different rails for Am and Pro. at Perfects it was just a huige rail run, with the easier rails staggered.....you if you wanted you could hit all hard rails... all easy rails... or a combo of both.

haha^ you said it decker. i'm curious to see the outcome of this weekends contest. Mad river is sorta sketchy. like last year, the landing definately wasn't made for the kicker. (or vise versa). the kicker would work for a 60 foot hit with a long landing. it was so sketcky, then Dingess went and Cork 9'd it, and backflipped it.

MAd River has maybe 2 rails that I didnt grease on my first attempt threre is just nuthin that brings a challenge to the table!!

if a 990 is throwin off a rail im going to quit skiing. A stylie 270 should rank higher than a 630. 630s shouldnt even be done. As of this post, 630s are illegal in the state of ohio. Any 630 done off a rail is basis for an automatic ass kicking for skiing without style.

no one has done a 630 with style especially not in the midwest. The only 630s ive seen in the midwest look like a top spinning with prayers of landing.

the only way a 630 should be thrown is if the rail is less than 3 feet tall and you have your hands above your head. anyone can do a 270 and make it look good, it takes a real man to fuck up a 630.

all of my boys got hosed at each stop so far, i am not impressed with this midwest x series and i am glad i am too busy keeping snowtrails terrain park classy to compete in that waste of time!

^Mitch Deer. He is an Ohio Freestylian. I have heard that the judging is SUPER whack. My dude lost to someone that fell on each run and then took a third run and no one else was allowed to take a third run. Does that sound right?

Most of the kids in the top 5 or 6 spots are good skiers, but a fall is a fall. If a person falls, they should recieve minimal points, no matter who or how good they are.
