190 Departs?

Any word if Salomon is gonna make this ski in a longer size. They seem so cool but they are way to short. A lot of companies do special longer sizes for their pros so any word if they have athletes on those?

Damn I guess people over 5’11’’ don’t exists
 
Currently there are no plans to make a 190cm. I am about as low as you can get on the totem pole with Salomon but yeah nah don't think a longer size is on the cards, especially since they are discontinuing the 194cm Blank (biggest size is 186cm).
 
That size break down is stupid. As a shorter person I feel like 170 is too short and 180 might be too long. I want to see like 168 177 186

You gotta try skiing on a non traditional park ski first it definitely does change how you ski in a fun way. Ive been riding 118 freeride skis in the park and it definitely feels better to go faster and disaster bigger rails compared to my regular park skis.

Rode the 186 and it felt minuscule. The 194 also felt small. Didn't care for the ski either.

the development folks are receptive to feedback from the team riders and the public. i think there is hope for those of us who need a 186+.

I've never ridden it. I just find it funny that Salomon has been developing this ski for like 8 years then comes out with a super ugly ski with a BBR tip and Karuba core and everyone here is on Salomons balls like they just dropped a new 1080.

5'11" who ride Salomon skis are happy with the 174 length the guy at REI put them on, if they were over 6' they would have been sold the 180s.

nobody on harlaut team is over 5 feet tall its a rule

so sleepy is like 3 foot 9 and thats why we will never get 189 depart

I thought the were so ugly when they first came out and then I saw them in person I now I think they look really good.

I’m pretty sure I heard of a new QST that’s longer wider and really damn soft

Actually Blank will come in a 192cm thats my bad. And as for a longer size, genuinely have no idea but still could be a possibility. Makes sense to start off with a couple popular sizes to see how the ski does out on the market before making more molds and expanding the line ($$$).
