I just got these, what bindings do you suggest? yes, I searchbared and didn't get anything besides salomons. I don't want salomons really, so I'm wondering what else. I would prefere look's or rossis. But I need the wide brake. someone help me please.

i just got the same skis and have been wondering the same thing. I am looking at Solly's but have also been looking into what else people have been puting on them. I have a friend who put P15's on them. Something on the lighter side would be nice since they are somewhat heavy skis. Do you have any idea where you are going to mount them? Dukes or Jesters are always an option also if you aren't into hating on Marker.

i wouldnt put a touring binding on a rockered ski, i have never tried to tour on rockered skis, but i dont think it would work worth shit.

holly shit u are 5'11 and u got 189s? uhhhhh have fun with that. lol. i sure hope u fucking charge.

They are rockered powder skis? my park skis are 180s, therefore I want something longer. They will rip. I'm also out west, so we have mountains and snow.

I'm a pretty dedicated look/rossi guy, and I'd still put some sally's on em. Wide mount pattern and light binding. either some new STH 16's (?) or some 916's

ive got some solly LAB 914's for sale they are the most bomber bindes solly make besides the lab 916

ive alos got some comp 18 markers, theese are world cup racaing bindings so they are pretty good check my threads fi anybodys interested.

Thanks dude, those look really kinda what I'm looking for. I am just curious about what bindings have brakes available that are wide enough for the 122 mm underfoot. Do you think look px 12 jib wides would be burly enough? I have marker 12s on some gotamas and have never had a problem with them. I have rossi axial 140s on my park skis and I love them, though they are heavy, and I only keep the din at like 9. But they stay on my feet through thick and thin.

What do you guys think?

if your gonna be in deep pow, as im assuming you will with these skis, your gonna want a really bomber binding so it has the least possible chance fo falling off. cause if it falls off your probally not gonna find it.

an d most company make a wide brake, and if its not wide enough you can bend it a little bit.

I have bent other bindings, and have not been completley satasfied with their performance. They do not come down all the time, and kinda stick out. would a 110 mm work on a 122mm?

i'm 5'11", 155 and my 179 bents measure like a 186, they are the perfect length for them. I would only want the longer ski if i were going to alaska.

jesters would be good too, i have the scratch 140's but i have broke 3 pairs just this season all on my hellbents. They are no designed to take the forces put on the ski especially landing switch, if you get rossi/look get the 14 race or what ever its called and they make a 126mm wide brake.

Don't waste your money on wide brakes.

Take a piece of pipe big enough to fit over the brake feet, bend them horizontal, then re adjust to the point where the edge of the ski is, and bend it down to fit.

Perfect!

Save $30. It takes less than 5 minutes.
