Ok, So Im 5'11" and 150lbs maybe 160 by winter. I am looking for a new park ski as my 176 dumonts are too short and absolutely shit in other terrain.

I ski Whistler and really want a ski thats reasonable all-mountain, in the trees etc.. I do have some 179 obsethed for deep days but I hate switching skis in the middle of the day so versatility is important.

I have searchbared but havent really got the results I was after.

So I have narrowed it down to these 2 skis in their respective lengths.

I think if the alpha 2/alpha 1 is truely better in pow and crud it will be the clincher but very few people seem to have ridden them.

In the park I am only doing M-L jumps (less than 35ft) and spend more time on Boxes than urban style rails.

I want a ski thats poppy, lively, butterable, stable and verastile.

What do you guys think.

Alpha 2 is medium-stiff ski which acts like a juniorski because of its sidecut.Maybe not the most fun jibski but good all mtn ski but it's a parkski so don't think it will have tons of flotation in pow because its rocker. The ski are really skinny.

i asked turpin about the alpha 2s at momentum this year because im really interested in them. what he told me was really suprising. he said that they kill it in the park but out of the park they arent that great. i have also heard that ar6s are a great all mountain ski. if what turpin said was true i would go with the ar6 but if i didnt hear turpin say that i would have guessed that the alpha 2 would be better for you. kinda confusing
