is 177 too big for me i'm 5'7 and 150 pounds and i would consider myself a pretty good skier

it depends on how wide...

the first thing that comes into my mind is the ski i'll be riding, the 177 chronic. with an 80mm waist, it's a lot of ski....i'm 5'6' like 135, and i'll be riding it....

i think pretty much whatever you ride, you'll get used to.

They will probably be good for you, the extra length will make them even better all mountain skis.

 
ya i'm thinking of getting the belangers with look p12 jibs i can get a pretty good deal on them

175 is pretty big if you 5'7 unless you have extra guiralla steez or youre really good. personally i dont like long skis for the park, just gets in my way

i'm 5'7, around 145, and ride 176 scratch bc. it's almost perfect. maybe a litle short forhigh speed in pow'

^that's great for you, but the rest of us have to remember to take what you say with a grain of salt, because as it says in your sig: you like george bush and deep powder, and hate rails. this kid will probably want something shorter than your xxtreme powder boards when he goes to buy a park ski.

^^ not everyone likes skis that are way over your fuckin head. i bought them a long time ago when i just switched from snowboarding and they work fine for park and groomers
