176 or 181 jeffrey 110s

Been wanting to purchase a set of jeffrey 110s for a while now but am not sure what size to go with. I’m about 5’8” 155lbs and I’d say I ski about 80% all mountain 20% park. These will be my daily drivers and I live in SLC. So should I be going with the 176s or 181s?

176

Message the ON3P crew on the website and they'll point you in the right direction, but they told me 181 on the 96s for 70/30 all mountain and I'm 5'8"ish and 175 lbs.

I would go 181. I do not ride park at all, so some park skiers might tell you differently.

I am the same size as you and have owned both Kartel108s in 181 and Kartel98s in 176. I found the latter to ski on the short end for all mountain duties whereas the 181s were perfect size wise.

Remember - they have quite long rocker zones, sturdy flex underfoot and lots of splay, so they are super fun to pop off and over stuff, and they slay (in the playful meaning of the word) all kinds of soft snow conditions

Typically would go 176cm at your height/weight.

Ok I was thinking I should probably go 176 but I was just worried they’d be too short for big airs and drops. I know your skis run true to length though so they’ll probably ski longer than most 176s.

What length are you used to riding? Im about your size (150 and 5’7” on a good day) and I ride Jeffrey 108s and 114s in a 181, and magnus 102s in a 176. I prefer the 181s for pow and general all mountain skiing but they can be a little cumbersome in the park, width definitely plays a factor in that too though. It took a bit to get used to the 181s at first but I don't regret the choice at all.

Im used to riding 170 length skis. My current ski is the faction ct 3.0 in 176 length. I just didn’t know if I should be sizing up now or sticking with that length

How old are you

181, on3ps rocker is crazy so the ski seems shorter than it is. I’m 5’1 on 161s and they feel perfect

Got it. Yeah I would go 176 personally. People on here are weird and want everyone to go over 180s but unless you really start to learn you love long skis, why not just go 176. I think you’ll have more fun with the 176s

i ride them 176 and i’m 5’6, a little too long

ive been struggling with this same question.

ive been on a 108 181 kartel for 3 yrs, love em to death. 5'7 150 type 3+. 50/50 all mountain/park. i drive the ski hard which the increased length has been suited towards, but especially with the jump to 110 wondering if a size down to 176 might help to offset that extra width/weight. i dont want to lose my ability to drive the ski hard at speed, but especially having more ski to move around now maybe a size down will help me be more agile?

any inout appreciated

5’7 150 id also size down so you can have some more freedom in your ability to throw those hoes around but it’s up to you. I think at 5’7 150 on 176 sticks you’ll still have more than enough stability

Not to take part in the dick measuring contest but they do have quite a lot of rocker. Another way you could look at it is if you value stability or maneuverability more. The 176 would be wicked quick pivoting but I assume you lose quite a bit of stability.

For reference I’m 5’7” and 165lbs and ski the 181 but I don’t spin a ton and nothing over a 3. I just wanted a fun ski to ride that has some back bone.

I do like to spin but usually only up to a 5 on the mountain and 7 in the park. But I also like to ski fast so I want something stable as well. I just think the 176 might not be stable enough, but I don’t know how the 181 will feel swing weight wise.
