17+ concert ideas?

So I really wanna go to the New Years Eve Pretty Lights concert in Chicago this year. The problem is that I'm only gunna be 16 and it's a 17 and up concert. My buddies who are going will already be 17. Are there any other options besides getting a fake ID? I will get one if I have to but would prefer not to since I'll probably have to buy one and they're not cheap. I'm almost certain there will be cops checking IDs. Thanks, ns.

But I agree, for a consert that's a weird age recomendation.

cause ull go back stage before everyones there so the cops wont card you cause they wont be there.
