15.4 Gigs of HD, Help?

In Sony Vegas I exported a video in .mov, its 2 and a half minutes long coming out of windows movie maker, which the file is 34.2 Megs, in Vegas I added titles and it took an hour to render and in the end its 15.4 gigs, is this normal? Any body have a similar situation, I really dont wanna go through another hour of rendering just to have the same thing, and as always i give karma.

Notes:

Made a video in Windows Movie Maker 1280 x 720 shot with D5000

It exported as 34 megs

Brought it into Vegas 7.0 for titles only

Came out as 15.4 gigs
 
you sir, added big titles.
Its happened to me in iMovie before, i have no idea what caused it.wish i could help
 
2 minutes of hd video, should be rather big, 15 gigs doesn't sound right if it really is HD then it should be rather bigger, I'd say have to be 34 gigs,

also it obviously took really long to render 15,000 gigs out of 32....
 
this has happened to me before.What your gonna wanna do is delete the sony vegas file that you just worked on. Reimport it and edit them all again. then i can't remember but there is two export ways. the way you just exported is the wrong one.
 
Huh? The original files strait off the D5000 were .avis, not very big, and off movie maker the whole edit was 34 megs, sony vegas added 15 gigs
