Anyone here like to climb fourteeners? If so which ones have you climbed and have you done any Winter Descents? Colorado has the most fourteeners in the Country. California has fourteen and Washington has one. We have more than any other state combined! We are also the state with the most land area above ten thousand feet.

I climbed Longs, Pikes Peak, Evans, Beardstat, Sneffles, Mount Massive, Mount Elbert, and the Crestone Needle all last summer and a few this fall.

pikes peak, longs, quondry (sp?), and i forget the rest it was a long time ago

do you want to help fund the 'get Anjelica a sweet dvd player in her car' foundation?

donations are more then welcome, and if you make a charitable donation if i goto college by you i will give you free rides up to the mountain and you get to watch SKI MOVIES on the way there!!!

for this i will go about barefoot and nake, i will howl like a jackal and mourn like an ostrich micah 1:8

I skied mount elbert in early june. i know ur looking for winter but i hope this helps. hiking is no fun. pretty much all the places that were skiable then had clearly avalanched in the winter due to the large piles of snow at the bottom.

powder.....

Wor dthe Colliegiate Range is the best ever. Driving down 285 then just driving down that valley with them on the left is such a sick view.

a couple dudes i know hiked up mount of the holy cross and skied it, and thats way technical. Beyond that there are a lot of 13ers in Rocky Mountain national park that are the shit to climb.

I'm what Willis was talkin' 'bout

just did kelso today, its a thirteener next to grays and torreys, they could use some more snow for skiing, a lotta rocks underneath, but its ok cuz you can still hike up on the solid rock, which is way easier when your carrying skis

Quandry, Elbert, Holy Cross, Greys & Torreys. All in summer. I've heard of peepl skiing the north face of Quandry, Elbert looks totally skiable, I've heard of peeple who skied the cross of Holy Cross, and both Greys & Torreys.

ok, im just going to name them off: democrat, cameron, lincion, bross, quandry, gerys, torey, pikes peak, elbert, sherman, longs, silverheels (across from bross and lincon hardest hike of my life and its only a 13er) maroon bells, yale, harvard, princeton. thats all i can think of for now, most of those were last summer.
