yes im obviously a pussy, if there so cool and everyne wishes they could do them, why are people throwing like cork 5's and switch 7's in comp runs and switch rodeo 10s and stuff in big air, there just not stylie and im sure if people wanted to throw them, they would, i dont think you will see many regualr 1440's in ski movies next year or in comps and i will make you a bet on that......

The future is something diffrent.. everyone wants to see something new, big, or stylie... if its an 1800... or a switch underflip 5 its diffrent. A 1440 isnt dumb, just difficult, and seeing somebody a blur spinning that fast is fun too watch and is deffintly progression.

what i really think you people understand is that nobody has ever hit a jump big enough to make a 1440 look 'cool' or 'slow and stylish' like you all keep saying it would be cool to see. i mean for fuck's sake look how big candide went 2 years ago at superpark, and he only threw a 5. is it because he can't do a 1440? no, it's because it still would NOT have been cool

its not a depate on if you are impressed or not. Who wouldnt be impressed. but what you people need to realize is that smoother 5 with techy grabs and off axis variations are much harder to do then hucking a 12 or 14. its impressive yes but not to hard to accually do if you have the ability. hell just look at arials they do quads (1440) all the time, its not a big deal

first....a 1440 is cool once or twice but nothing to gawk at. after ll, it is just hucking. if someone were to throw a 1440 over a 200 foot table with a blunt or something... i might change my mind but for christ sakes we arent arealists. the 1440s all (that i know of) have boner steeze which is ugly.

in the end which is cooler? a smooth ass cork 3 by tanner or pollard or a hucked as fuck 1440 by anyone? my vote goes out to the cork three

i disagree... i think everyone can do 1440s with certain limitations holding them back. everyone can do anythign but there are things holding them back and in the way

1440's or more are cool but not amazing. they're 'wow he spun a lot. anything else?' when you're watching any ski movie, what makes you go 'SiCk!!!' more? a 1440 or a cork 7 or 9 with mad style? but honestly, doing a rodeo of a 60 ft cliff wins overall any day.

its coming but i for one dont want it. its just too hard to make look good. i think skiers should concentrate on rails the most. rails are still a mecca waiting to be discovered. the onyl thing limiting it is the imagination.
