14/15 Amplid Rockwells??

I'm considering buying this ski since I'm overseas and there is a sale on a display model for $550. Has anyone here skied any Amplid models? What's the consensus on this brand?
 
Can't help with an unbiased opinion, but if you have any specific questions about the Rockwells we'll do our best to answer them for you.
 
I just pulled the trigger on them. I read about them herehttp://exoticskis.com/forum/default.aspx?g=posts&t=337 sounds like just what I'm looking for. I'll being skiing in South Korea (home to the 2018 olympics) mostly and a hopefully a trip to Japan this winter. I'll be mounting a pair of brand new 2013 griffions I picked up for $120. I'm stoked on this sick new set-up that only cost me $670
