13'/14' Post Your Ski Quiver

sickle's mounted at the +5 mark on the ski. Honestly for the east coast, thats the perfect spot to blend light duty park with east coast woods and snow. They have 6 days on them. The BSL is mounted for a 308. I am a ski tech in upstate ny so i could remount/adjust for your boots on the spot.

Line EP Pro (185 length 127 waist)

Homemade Max Amateur Model (185 length 107 waist)

(185 length is pre press so it looks shorter with camber)

RAMP Cork (181 length 85 waist)

Atomic Punx (182 length 84 waist)

meant 182 not 185.

also bindings are rossi fks 14s, marker squires (didn't want to break the bank in case the skis blew apart), tyrolia peak 12s, and look px12 jibs respectively

The graphic on your ski on $$$$$. How did your ski for your brother's wedding come out (assuming you're the same person)?

don't have the exact specs cause they were hand drawn templates that have been destroyed, but they are something like 182 length 131-107-125. 3 layer full maple core horizontally laminated. 2 layers of triax sandwiching the core. wooden sidewalls. super early and mellow early rise. first pair of skis out my press ever.

design process and construction are far superior now.

cause I now use CAD templates. I have the templates for my most recent models, but not my first model.

Probably throwing my mojo 15's on the Inferno's, they will be my every day ski this year and will probably go back to my S3's next year when I can start hitting rails again.

Did a super cleanout of my quiver this year. Only have setups I'll actually use now.

Quality>Quantity

What are you opinions on the Chopsticks? They seem like a stiffer 4frnt Wiley (yes, I know the Chopstick came first).

I fucking love them. They're unbelievable in powder, just so much float. And they're very very stable for a fully rockered ski. They still hold up surprisingly well on groomers getting too and from the lift. Better than Hell Bents IMO. As soon as I saw that these were the last year for Chopsticks I had the Volkl rep send me a pair. If you can find a new pair still if strongly encourage picking them up.

yeah, i'd want them as a pow/freeride ski for the resort if i can find an older pair my size. holdin out for a while though. thanks for the 1st hand opinion.

Honestly I was just curious. I was going to buy a pair of them last season, but couldn't find them in my size. If I got a ski like that, I'd probably go for the Wiley or Night Train.

I was drunk when I posted that comment above about holding out. If I ever find a used pair for cheap in my size is what I'm holding out for....

Head Johnnys 181 with sth14

And for pow I don't know yet. Deciding between bluehouse 189 meastro, Liberty 190 double helix in good demo condition, Surface 191 Live life, and 4fnt 186 ehp in good demo condition but I'm not too stoked on the 40m turn radius.

I can pretty much get them all for $300 and the meastros(this years made in SLC) and live lifes would be brand new. They hooked me up with a deal. The demo guy at brighton seemed super stoked on the libertys. I had salomon czars before in 181 for out east and that had a 40+ turn radius and it was great for straight lining but landing switch the tails would throw you back and when things got tight in the trees you really had to work them into a turn. I'm going to be able to demo the liberty and 4frnts and I should be able to get a deal with 4frnt but I'm not familiar with their product but the yle is up for demo too.

The YLE sounds like it's exactly what you're looking for if you can get a deal on it. I'm personally not huge on Surface, but the Live Life would be good for what you want too. I've never skied the Maestro, but it seems like a slightly stiffer version of the CRJ, which I have and love.
