What up Newschoolers!

A few weeks ago some friends and I headed down to Yosemite to create our first time-lapse film. This is the final result! We put a lot work/money into this and we are really stoked on the final project.

Not sure if you're looking for any critique, but I'm gonna throw my two cents in.

Almost all of the timelapses were severely overprocessed and kinda looked like bad HDR. Take it easy on the clarity and on leveling everything out, it just looks unnatural. Also, you had some stability issues, there was some shakiness in the tripod shots and the hyperlapses were so warped that you should have cut before you hit the trees. Your best shots were 1:30, 1:55, and 2:10. I think that you just need to keep shooting a lot of timelapses and get more familiar with editing before you'll be really good. I'm assuming you used LRtimelapse?

Yeah, I agree with Gavin. Honestly I felt like it could have used a more unified style. The color processing made it seem very serious and high budget, high quality arty (like you were going for a camp 4 vibe but overshot) but I feel like having people present in your shots ruined much of that. The music just did not fit IMO, like I think I can tell what you were going for but it just did not work with the visuals to me. What was your vision for this project? What are you trying to tell us about your subject? What is the style?

Sorry if that came off as harsh, I'm just assuming you want critiques. It has a ton of potential and I am no time-lapse expert myself, just looking to try to help you improve.
