12' Armada AR7s coming a part

i bought this years ar7s and i dont concider my self a agressive park skier at all. but the edges are coming part. how do i aproch this? take em into a shop, or confront armada about it?
 
well it truly does not matter if you are aggressive or not, the big question is have you hit rails with them?
 
my ar7's havnt had any tear or edge damage they were probably too sharp or its a warranty thing but rails will wreck your skis no matter what
 
really? my ar7s from last year have 50 days on them, and no cracks at all. They were probably to shap, and a point is easier to break than a rounded edge.
 
I dulled the edges on my t-halls this year and only got 3 edge cracks none of which are pulling out, after 20 days of all rails.
 
my AR7s from last year (still skiing them) have about 50 days on them as well and I have 5 edge cracks, but no signs of then worsening. I ski them like 80% park though so they get beat. interestingly enough my AR5s from 06 and AR6s from 07 are in better shape edgewise
 
i love that every response in this thread is people telling thier own story and not answering his question. go say hi to the retailer and ask em, if u hit rails then oh well
 
did you do an aggressive detune underfoot before riding them? i can't stress how important that is.

as for contacting armada... you can give it a shot but i doubt you'll have any luck. assuming that your edge damage is from rails, it's all your fault and not covered under warranty
 
then you should have contacted armada before mounting and riding them. what didn't look good on them?
 
I guess it's possible that you got a defective pair, but Armada is pretty well known for their durability.What looked wrong with them? Have you been hitting rails or had any impacts?
 
I would shoot Armada an e-mail or post on their Facebook or something, then take them over to a shop while waiting for a response. But you didn't clarify- did you or did you not hit rails with them?
 
I have hit rails with them. compared to previous skis i have had, these ones have a lot of sections where there are gaps between sections of edge. Compared to my suspects the edges dont seem constucted very well.
