110mm Brakes on a 96mm Wide Waist

Looking at mounting some attack 13s on my new masterblasters, which have a 96mm waist, can I pull off the 110s? They have a 95mm offering but I would like to avoid bending brakes if possible.

Also, anything I should look at besides the attacks? Looking for a good budget binding and everyone seems to like them

95mm attack brakes fit 101mm skis easily. 110s would be terrible on a 96mm ski.

What? How could a 95mm brake fit across a 100mm ski?

Edit- Do you mean if I bend them to fit?

I've seen most places say that +15mm is the max oversize you should go, which would mean the 110s work

They expand when the binding releases. The measurements aren’t exact at all either, the 110s are better suited to 115-118 skis. Trust me on this one I have the 95s on my 101mm skis and they fit without bending.

Thanks a lot man!

They’ve held up really well but I definitely prefer pivots due to the superior retention. Hard to beat the attacks for the price and weight though.

Are the The Attack2 14 AT basically the same as the regular attack2 12 GWs? I get that they are touring but i'll prob never use that- is there downsides to the AT?

Higher stack height. Unless you have boots that aren't compatible with the 13/16s definitely go for the 13/16s.

I run the 95 brakes on my 101mm skis and have zero issues w/out bending the brakes. That said, bending brakes up to 10mm is no big deal. We do it all the time at my shop.

Also a significant weight difference, the 14ATs are heavier.
