100mm brakes too big for 85mm waist?

I'm looking for bindings for a pair of 174 or 179 K2 Public Enemys, which I think both have 85mm waists...if I plan on placing the bindings around +3 or +4, will 100mm brakes be too large? What size brakes would be ideal?

How many of you would bend 80's instead of getting wider brakes?

ideal brake would be 85mm, or 90mm yeah 100 will be to big, they will stick out a ways from the ski.
