1000skis quick park review

I just skied my first day on the red twigs and a lot of people have been wondering how this new company is holding up, well here’s a quick opinion on them. They are super energetic and they can really carve well and do turns that other stiffer park skis wouldn’t be able to do. They are soft enough to easily get up on you tips or noses but still really have that on snow all mountain performance. I can’t comment on how they perform in powder because I sadly ski in PA. But I would totally recommend people who are looking for a park ski but still be able to do turns that all mountain oriented skis can make.

If I had the money I would buy these

Been thinking about them. Only thing i don’t like is the color. Not my taste. Rather have season or simply for the minimalist skis

would go harder in a black white or gray for sure. They do it for the marketing so that they stand out fosho

Pretty close to copping a pair. Just getting my car fixed up first and then seeing if I can afford em.

I have the all mountain skis and this is a good review of them as well. I ski powder with them sometimes and they are good, but have almost no float so you have to work a bit harder.

You wanna elaborate on that? super lost with your patterns of thinking

1000 would have to stop innovating if this was their idea...

"We've gotta sell the same ski for 5 years in a row because if someone breaks one, they only need to buy one."

Versus:

"We've gotta innovate and make our skis better after each season or two to stay relevant."

I'm under the impression a business is about growth, not stagnation.

I don’t think people realize that these are actually the most boring skis ever made, and I’m not willing to drop 700$ on a ski with no personality.

But bro, they're red.

Vishnu is played out,

JET is dead,

1000 is the new wave...

...Right?

I got a pair off ebay, didn't want to pay full price. Skis feel pretty cheap honestly. More plasticy than any other ski I've tried. They don't feel like they're going to hold up well in the park or ski the mtn well. I didn't buy them through the website so at least I didn't lay full price but Idk. I'm not sure what the hype is about.

I'm convinced all ski reviews are the same. A park ski that can make turns on the mountain?! That's some brand new technology ive never seen before!

Naw Vishnu and jet were at least different

1000 skis just aren’t offering anything that separates them from every other boring ass park ski being made right now

I wanna update it a bit after riding them for a couple weeks. Obviously they have softened up a lot, they feel super noodlish now. The carving performance has gone down a decent bit it’s not as grippy anymore at higher speed and they do start flopping and shaking if you go too fast. They have become super poppy tho, still very fun skis to jib around the mountain. I would consider them a more energetic version of the Blend.
