here (missoula montana) rectangle tube comes in 24 foot incriments so you could make a 12 footer depending on if you can split the cost with someone for the other 12 feet or if the steel place will let you choose the length you want, then just by some standard 2x2 square tube for legs and feet, on a twelve foot rail you should be able to get away with 2 supports and it makes the rail easier to square up when you install it. If you have a person to weld the metal for you it will cost about 60 bucks is my guess. Can anyone tell him anything about PVC i dont really know prices for that

Thanks...I heard that pvc is pretty cheap but has a tendency to break and isnt the greatest to slide on

i have a 20 foot pvc rail, its pimp it works fine. just dont diasaster on it when its super cold out or else it will crack. and make sure you mount it to 2x4's or else it will definitly just flex and crack in half on you. 20 feet long and 3 feet high and its only got four supports and only costs me about 30 bucks all in all.

yeah ive got two ten feet pvc rails, i just got a ten foot pcv pipe (cheap like 17 bucks american) and then cut it in half, then get two ten foot long 4x4s and then mount the half of the pvc pipe onto the 4x4, then just put give it legs and feet and your good, i could probably post a pic if someone tells me how, its so confusing and im dumb
