09 Season - Wanaka or Queenstown or sack it?

I am planning on a season April - Sept in NZ.

Not sure about it though. Is NZ any good? I want big mountain runs, powder, parks and of course somewhere quality to party (whistler). So my question is Queenstown, Wanaka, neither of them resorts or just sack it off and wait till next season for whistler????

wanaka!!! you have the powder and big mountain at treble cone... you have the park at the 1 and only snow park, but also cardrona is legit too! partying in wanaka is legit, there are always djs going and its really busy right through to end of august really... queenstown is super touristy, youll see hundreds of people there one night, then a hole different people the next, its no fun... Wanaka is the most legit place on earth///
