09-10 Salomon Czar/Shogun question

Anybody knows if they'll come in longer than 182cm?

Like something 185+ ?

Because Salomon has a stupid gap in size for 100-110 waist that goes from 182 to 198. At 6", 182 is my park ski lenght and 198 is WAY too fucking long.

Haha, that's crazy. Obviously the next size should just be like 230cm after 198cm. I mean let's be reasonable.
 
They're 102 underfoot. 131 tip, 121 tail I believe. 350 mm of rocker. Not sure whether the tail is rockered or not. It's also got edge armor.
 
kinda odd they have edge armor. i've heard they're stiff, poppy and good for charging and what not. nothing like the gun (kinda noodly and playful)
 
New Shoguns are a lot of fun, it shot to the top of my list while riding them in the less than optimal groomed conditions but they handled everything perfectly. They are fairly heavy but ski very light and definitely have some pop. Couldn't find too much to fault in them.
 
It's 101 underfoot of the 182's I tried. There are longer ones of course 190.

310m rocker. Not on the tail (that's just stoopid)

It's a bamboo and woodcore with basalt salts (Abma's keen on being green.)

The concept of the ski is a Gun on steriods.

Its rather impressive on groomers!
 
I'm guessing its to help prevent edge blowouts from rocks and such, but if its the same as this year, it will probably do more harm than good
 
The semi twin tail is what makes it so performing.

It's a rocker shape ski like the Lord - meaning is stealth tip (low profile 130 tip) which means the Shogun super fun in everything and really impressive on groomer days.

Hardpack blew me away on the 101 underfoot, the Shogun is solid.
 
i didnt have enough time at the demo to get on these but my shop manager got on them and said they werent at all lively. tested at stratton on groomed terrain

Yeah I had a chance to see them out at Vegas and I think the Shogun is one of the hottest looking skis I've ever seen. Ofcourse behind the 2010 Line Anthem..
