Im not if breaking boots in makes a big difference, but it was my first day riding today with 08/09 spk kaos boots and it was fucking hell by the end of it. the boots boast that they are the most comfortable with alot of padding for landings and what not, but my feet were killing me after 2 hours. does breaking in boots make a difference after you ride them for abit, and usually how long? has anyone else had this problem with these boots? i feel like i got to small of a pair?

my feet are a fucking fire man, helppp please

Did you put in insoles? Some people don't know that if you put in insoles you have to take out the ones that come in the boot or else it gets really tight. Boots do need a bit of breaking in as well, but they shouldn't be killing your feet like you are describing. Are they too small lengh or width wise? Talk to the people where you bought them and tell them your problem. Also, SPK liners can be custom fitted I'm pretty sure by whoever you bought them from. Talk to them I'm sure they can help. Good luck.

did you get them properly fitted at a shop? im riding last years SPKs and yesterday was my first day in them, and they were the most comfortable boots i have ever been in, and i was wearing them for a solid 8 hours

they need to pack in and thts why they feel tight now. Normally just a day or 2 of riding will do so.

no, i didnt put in insoles. there to small length wise, like the from of my toe was hurting alot, and my shins and abit on back heel. i'll head over to the shop wear i bought them and check it out. they didnt get them custom fitted.

the weird part is though, when we were measuring my feet at the store. i measured a 27, but i asked for a 27.5 and got them, but still there too tight. ???

Give them time man, or at least SOME time.
I had to take my boots off every few hours for the first 2 or 3 days I rode them because they were killin my toes. After a week they were fantastic for the rest of the season.

YO i have those boots!

they are the most comfortable thing ive ever slipped my feet into.

your feet must be retarted and have arms or somthing

make sure your boot model has custom liners, and the shop has the technology to do so first. (Just call and ask) Also, try putting on your boots for 20 minutes now, and if your feet get numb then come back here and tell me.

ya dude, if its your first time with the boot then your gonna have sore feet. You have to break the boot in and let it pack out. I wear mine around the house for a bit just to wear them in a bit. If you still have pressure points, go to a shop and theyll help you.

Try heating and fitting the liners at the shop or use your dryer.

If that doesn't help ... maybe they don't actually fit you?

The first day I rocked mine they were hella comfy. They're perfect for me.

My toes do get colder than other boots I've had though... prolly due to the SPK's construction.
