THey're different, they fixed the blown out edges problem.

they look pretty sick and yeah they fixed the edges underfoot so i'd get some

I was with a two guys on Sunday and they both had them, they were not takeing them on rails though because they did not like the feel of the grind plates or what ever.

they ski the same as the old ones, but they beefed up the construction underfoot so they dont blow apart. they have a metal sheet reinforcing the edges so they dont press into the base as easily.

ive ridden them and the flex ispretty much the same. they have two grind plastes and reinforced edges that go father into the ski, and they have ametal plate in between the base and topsheet. they did seem a little diff on rails, but im sure you will get used to it.
