07 gotamas?

im hoping to get these skis and have read previous threads,they seem to be what im looking for.

Im 6ft 3 and 170lbs

im not a excellent off piste skier,but im a good skier on piste,have raced on dry slope etc. but im going for a month on snow this year in total and i fell in love with back country last year,im gonna ski a lot of it this year and hope to improve quickly

these skis will to be acompny my line anthems so will not be used in park(much). so a 183 or 190 wud be best??

also any feed back on the skis from people who have skid them would be great thanks!
 
ya they seem pretty sick freeskier editors pick. according to your description "not very good off piste" id go with the 183
 
yeah to give u better idea, i can ski it confidently as i come from a good skiing background, i had tuition from a guide last year,did some fairly challenging stuff with few cliff drops etc. but more importantly could fairly confidently make ur typical powder 8s and bigger (more mach 2 than mach 3) turns. and i normaly ski 181s at the moment on piste but there too soft (salomon 1080s 05 model) and so i overpower them
 
Supposedly the Gotama skis short. However, with the new reduced tail size on the 07s, I do not know if that is the case anymore. Im 5'9" and 150 and went with 190's, but I haven't skied them yet so I can't really comment haha but I hear they are super sick and the 07 seems like it will be a little more forgiving if you aren't very good at off piste yet.
 
yea, i would like to know about this too. im 5'11" and weigh 130, and am thinking about getting the new 183's. what do you guys think?
