07 BC and FS review

Just tried both today in whistler.

Fs in a 181: Immediately noticed the difference in weight reduction. FS always light this years, and coming from PEs, they were as weightless as the burnt paper thats on the graphics (which are pretty sick, loads of hologram naked chicks too). In the park they had good pop and spun super easy. On the groomers they tracked nicely but were just a tad sketch cos they're so light. Ruled the bumps- rapid edge t edge. Sweet switch.

BC in 178: Loved em. Felt really planted despite being 3cm shorter. Not too heavy and good pop for their size -98mm waist! Hold an edge like a bitch when hooning but less maneuvrable and generally a bit harder work. Contest-winner graphics are ok. Sweet switch and they stomp landings.

I'm 6,1 and bout 185 and that's probably why the FS felt almost toooo light. Gonna definately buy some of the 178 BCs for jibs though, they killed it.

don't know how much dey are. the bases on the FS are REd on one ski and WHITE on the other and they say scratch near the tails

its actually black and red. and there's an outline of a chick on the tails of both skis...

i tried em both and didn't find anything that i REALLY like about the FS's.

however the BC's impressed me alot. I tried them along with Seth Vicious and the BC's were so much lighter and easier to control.

Hopefully, im getting a free pair of bc's after i got in top100 with that rossi design contest.

Im thinking about grabing some 185 BCs, I am 6' 1" and like the longer ski. But yeah i hear they are a sick park ski.

does anyone else find it strange that rossis powder ski, the bc, is more preferd in the park than there park specific ski?

not anymore really.

if u look back, i think 2 years ago scratch bc were 84mm in the waist, when now they are 98...

next and this year scratch FS were 84mm in the waist, which is the same as the BC from 2 years ago. If u watch the clips of pros riding next yeasr skis, u will notice that all of them are riding the FS...

is the scratch fs kinda like the teneighty? Because my 1080s are very heavy but i like how it is good all mountain. whats a good light all mountain ski. I was thinkin the foil, scratch fs or amada ar5
