07-08 STL's

I am looking for a new pair of skis for this season. I ski the east coast (mostly park, a few groomers) and will be going out west this winter for 3-4 days. I am 6'2, weigh 170 pounds and want something that is pretty soft. I found a great deal on 181 Stl's (backcountry.com) from last year but haven't heard any news on there all around performance. I was just wondering if these skis would be suitable for me?

From what I've heard they're not the softest skis out there. They'd suit your all mountain uses fine, but you could definitely find softer...

Yeah theyre real stiff^^

Also, one of my mates was ridin them this season and they chip like a bitch!! Dunno if that bothers you but thought I would pass it on...
