05 - 06 PICTURE THREAD

HAHAHAHAHAHAH

poles = pain in the ass when hiking that small of a rail, so the poles stayed on the ground. Don't worry, we're not quite newschool enough to go completely pole-less

They started tearing everything down and taking all of the rails down Sunday afternoon, so there won't be much up.

You might be able to set something up near the rail pile at the bottom by the chairs, there was a few people that set up a small box/rail line down there. But speeds gonna be an issue, cause its fucking warm up there, the snow is sticky and slow, and its melting FAST.

Over by the powder pig hut there was a van jib? Anybody know anything about that?

Yhea I have A friend who is getting kinda big in the snowboard filming world. did some shooting for Burton this winter and does the spacecraft comercials. This summer he will be working with robot food. So back on subject, a week or two ago I asked him if snoqualmie had left any rails up. He said he did not think so, but that mack dawg (I think) had set up a junk yard jib shoot. He said it had a couple of cars and vans and an aroplane wing. Personaly I think a wing would be the coolest think to jib on.

And kevin wonders why I don't post pictures of him....

it was mac dawg that set up the junk yard jibs, it was a week or two ago, they left it up. there was an airplane wing, don't know if it's still there.

yeah, they did it for shakedown, so.......end of 03-04 season

and yeah that landing sucked but we decided to hit it anyways....for some reason, i suppose it had something to do with us hiking all the way out there just to hit it, then realizing it sucked, but trying to find a way to make it work.

yaa, that would prolly make the most sense, becuase we were all the like...this landing fucking blows. definately one of my most intense hits though. sooo high up, like 35 feet above the bottom of the cliff

^it was definetly a sick session. i never really throw down off cliffs, and you almost landed some of that shit

^all you guys should come up to baker this weekend and bring your camera...you dont have to hike and the landings arent so flat. like i said in the other thread, one pretty big jump, the channel, but mostly pussy shit everywhere else, or you can be like me and clear hips that have 8 ft long death landings

unless you did that twice, i was on the chair in front of you guys and watched him grab the chair and just disapeer into the fog. it was so sick.

i went up the chair later in the day and they had 3 ski patrol fools sittin there so people wouldnt do that or just off the chair.

lol ya mad gapers chillin right under the hip and at the end of the day it was so hard to land because of the huge holes in the landing lol.

i just thought i would bring this thread back for us all to cherish and remember the life that was the 05/06 season, god rest its soul and let us hope that the 06/07 season is stunning as well!
