The World Championships of Snowskating went down on April 20, 2024 at Solheisen in Hemsedal, Norway.
We had 40 competitors representing 8 countries: Norway, Sweden, Germany, Lichtenstein, El Salvador, USA, Canada, and South Africa.
It was a fun family-oriented event where 30 of the skaters...
Halfpipe is burly as fuck. Yesterday the men threw down despite some issues with the shaded wall sending them to the flat bottom on more than one occasion, but the women didn't have the same issues today. Beautiful weather greeted the athletes once again, so it was clearly a good call to delay...
Devin Logan joined the duo of T Wall & T Hall in the booth tonight for Women's Streetstyle at Dew Tour '24 at Copper Mountain. The field was super stacked with 12 riders dropping at the start, with the same format as the men's. The ladies went hard from the word go, let's get into it!

The final ski event of Dew Tour this year was Women's Super Streetstyle and super it certainly was. Right from the off, the ladies were crushing despite the falling snow and bad vis. Lisa Zimmerman set the early bar and she really is fucking good... The ski industry really did her a disservice...
Dew Tour continued with Streetstyle, Gus Kenworthy and Hunter Hess provided the laughs and wisdom. The course had four sets of features and the competition would run as a qualifying heats with head-to-head finals where the riders would have to put down two different runs with both counting...
It was a tough sell for Dew Tour this year with World Championships happening simultaneously in Georgia. That meant lots of the athletes were already out in Bakuriani, but with Brendan Mackay, David Wise, Aaron Blunck and Alex Ferreira dropping, it's not like too many of the podium threats were...

This season, I jumped to the dark side of skiing. Judging contests is an interesting challenge, pressure-filled and fun all at once. I’ve visited top-tier resorts, met my idols, and learned a lot about the state of skiing. Judging is not easy. Every skier thinks they deserve to win, and we don’t...
A new snowskate company, Opala Snurf Club, has just appeared out of thin air and become quite the topic of speculation among the snowskating circles.
Never one to miss a beat, @OregonDead , our buddy Eric, and I headed down to Bend, Oregon for a gear test.

Dew Tour Streetstyle Final took place in Red Gerards hike park at Copper Mountain. A free rail park designed to make skiing and snowboarding more accessible at Copper. It was fitting that a rail jam hike session capped off Dew Tour this weekend. Overall impression

Superpipe finals never fail to be full of gnarly sends and this year's Dew Tour Final was no different. With the added heat of Olympic points to be had this was no different. The sun was out after a couple of delays and the pipe was running as perfect as can be, this was set to be a much more...
When it comes to comps, to Olympic qualifiers be in particular, this is what it all comes down to. The top competitors get to put down 3 runs in their chase for a podium position, so who's had the best run in them today?

A beautiful morning here at Copper would set the stage for an electric Women's superpipe final. No doubt these ladies were going to lay it all out in the hunt for the win today, and boy were we given a show.

What a stacked field of competitors, seriously, and having to cut 16 out of the 26 guys for the finals means everyone came out to throw it down. With the women's event getting pushed back to Friday, be sure to check back for the update on that.
