i dont really like ABS, its softer so it doesn't slide as fast, and its no stronger then pvc, i'd just go with pvc

very true, i'd say go with pvc, but if you really want a metal rail, id go to a local welder or shop and ask if they could make one, it would be much cheaper

you dont need to on pvc, and on urbans just take any kind of wax, like skate wax or candels, and just rub it on the rail. not much to it really

just but them together as good as you can, if there is a little bit sticking up, turn the rail around, if you cant then just take a chisle or your ski edge and hack it down, once its down it wont matter.
