Dougs ski from K2 that he rode on was a seth with a straight tail, apparently. However, in alot of shots it looks like he is on Black Diamonds, usually the Crossbow. That makes more sense, as its hard to imagine someone who does as much mountaineering as him choosing to ski on a shitty heavy ski...

Portillo is ok... its basically an american resort culture wise... everyone speaks english and there is nothing but rich americans and some rich chileans there. The lift accessed terrain isnt that great, its probably worth going there to bag the super C ad then move on.

Im down here at Las Lenas at the moment, things are good. Ive been here nearly a month now. Skiing pow on Marte the past 3 days, there is no one here its pretty incredible. To get an idea on prices, I am paying $500 us a month for the apartment I am staying in, and $1000 us for a season pass...

I disagree. Too much sidecut = tough to get a consistent carve going. Also makes it so you cant use the rocker to smear out and dump speed when needed.

Saw some Argentine kid slide all the way top to bottom of a poma on his stomach, including a 30 degree turn at one tower... that was pretty sweet.

Very light for a ski of its size, they felt lighter than the hellbents (179s)... I dont have exact weights for either though.
