yah i just built a box with HDPE as a topsheet, and ill admit it does fray a little on the edges. but im pretty sure its near impossible to catch in the middle of the sheet. also mines not all that slippery, should i just like wax it down or something?

I made mine out of a 4x4, that i put a couple of coats of polyeurothane on. this made it kinda slippery, and i found it slid alright. then i just screwed some upside down T's onto it to stabilize it.
