I've had my A-frames for almost four years now and i keep buying new goggles but i always go back to using my A-frames. They just fit really well in a helmet and they look sick.

1080's are pretty wide. I was told they're supposed to fit like a skate shoe, but who knows if thats right. Getting your boots punched out is an experience... its also nice to have a custom fitting boot though. What they do is basically stretch your boot out. I have nordica dobermann plug...

I might be wrong, but i think the X-wave boots are a little narrower than the 1080s.

I used to be a racer so i know my wax and base repair stuff. Your core shots you should probably use an epoxy that is made for the cold and fill it up almost all the way, then drip p-tex over it and scrape it off about 3-5 min. after you drip it so it's still kinda warm. As for wax, i use swix...

That place at Cannon is wicked cool, especially after a nice snowfall but it tends to be really cold (not that it matters when you're hiking). Anyways, i still give it good marks for terrain.
