    Maden or JP vs. Julien

I have 189 Maiden's.. I weigh in at 175 lbs. They are beastly long, they measure out to 193...and they are pretty soft. They are my all-mountain ski. I tear up mostly BC (Colorado) and park. They excel at both...but they are a lot to handle due to their length. Mine are mounted at +5, which...

    4frnt, rossi fks 185, p12, or px12

I second that. FKS 155...OR look into Solly S916 bindings...they are all metal..no plastic bits. They last forever.

    Wide park ski

They aren't more awkward spinning if you mount close to center. This just requires a softer wide ski. Like the Made'n...which is my park ski. I'm 6'5"...nobody makes traditional park skis big enough so I resorted to Made'ns...they are so much more stable.

    Vicious/Big troubles

I don't like the Big Troubles too much...if you are interested in big mountain skis, I would HEAVILY suggest the Legend Pro from Dynastar, or the Seth Vicious. I have ridden both, though my day to day ski is the K2 Made'n. Legends are stiffer...but a really amazing ski. What will you be using...

    *** 189 K2 Seth Vicious for Sale ***

Wow, I can't believe how bitch this thread got. SV are amazing skis. Iggyskier is completely, 100% legit (I've bought from him before). I don't see what the hold up is. I would expect these planks to be gone already, I imagine they'll get unloaded soon.

    06-07 Skis

Dynastar is reluctant to change the Troublemaker. They have been quoted in saying that they do not change them because kids keep buying them. I would not expect any change besides the graphics, considering they have been the same ski for years. I could be wrong, though.

What type of poles do guys use?

Last season I broke 2 pairs of cheap poles and bruised 2 ribs. This season I have Leki Vision Ventrix. I will never use anything besides carbon any longer, they haven't broken yet, and I can take a rib shot without fucking anything up to bad. Plus it saves your arms from being sore at all...

    +++HeadPhone Choices+++

My best advice is to invest in an amp. It's easy to build a CMOY style amp if you are electrically inclined, Go-Vibes and Zmoys are nice too.

Grado cans are the best. SR-125 over here, with an external amp.

    WTB: Park Skis

Pollards are definitely on the list. Chron Wides are the same but softer, I would like them as well. I'm open to plenty of skis. Somebody has to have something to sell.

    WTB: Park Skis

I have 189 Made'ns which I love on tables n shit but I refuse to ride on rails. 187 Line Chron Wides would be awesome, but again, this is a rail ski and I am not inclined to spend 450 dollars on it. If anybody has a used pair....that's a different story all together.

    WTB: Park Skis

Alright, gentlemen of Newschoolers.com, my fickle mind has decided that once again, I need a park oriented ski. So show me whatchu want to sell. I need only the biggest sizes, I'm like 6'5". Chron Wides, STLs, AR5s, Fujatives, etc etc. I'll seriously consider ARVs, MSPs, and Seths too...
