the 1080's are ok, but I think you should try the troubled Youth(Dynastar) theyre really stable and they're very good in the park... comes in lengths up to 158. You shouldn't have to long skis if you're just starting off at skis...

no, there are 2 versions of this years... the new one has better edges(some new material) and I haven't broke a pair in all summer, thumbs up cause they seem to be alot better... other then the edges they're exactly the same though.
