They don't compare to out west. out west is all above treeline, cliffband, big cornice, chutes, with SOFT SNOW BIG MOUNTAIN the east has icy, steep, rocky, chutes, that are really technical. I grew up skiing in the east, and i have no problem skiing anything out west.

Rasta EG1 or the Sk8 or die's would be my choice. It seems like the lens' on the figments are less quality than the EG1's
