Title says it all, my father actually brought me there almost ten years ago. Internet says it closed in 06, is this true? I'd like to stay in as seedy a dump as possible.

Building a "public park" park, looking for tips.

Picnic tables, some nice thick three inch pvc, and some screw-clamps, that way if your worried about the setup you can just unclamp the rails and stash them in some bushes or something. That's what we use in usually flat illinois at the local drainage ditches. If snow is plentiful you can use...

    Monday sesh, alpine, wilmot, cascade?

Anyone gonna be skiing one of those three on monday? I have a rare day off and would like to ski in some sunlight for a change. Alpine was sweet last night, the new stuff setup is sweet. However, variety being the spice of life, might be time for a drive to cascade.

    Alpine Valley Update

Shot up there on monday, way to hold it down with so much so early. It made me glad I kept driving when I saw the wilmot sign on 94. Height and slope of the downrails was sweet, perfect to get back in the swing after skating all off-season. Will there be features on all three of the slopes...

Cascade New Years Eve Rail Jam.

I was there today, looked like they still had the setup at the base of the hill. That shit made my day being able to take full runs on the hill and then a quick jib before getting back on the chair. Would have liked to see whatever went down last night though. Any edits or pics?

Anyone from Rutgers ski in Jersey or surrounding areas? I'm from the midwest and am trying to figure out how to get to any decent ski area from here without a car. If anyone's looking for people to split gas, session together, I'm down. Any help would be sweet. Peace.

Headed to Whistler on friday, any suggestions?

I'm leaving Chicago headed to Whistler Blackcomb for spring break on friday. What're the conditions like and does anyone have any suggestions on food, spots, etc? We're 18 and the flight and skiing will leave most of us broke, so cheap and good is best. Thanks
