Try to work your way into the system. Get a job in the parks department. Put on paper why you don't like it and make it professional with legitimate concerns. Give this stuff right to management, and let them know you want to help make it better- don't just complain like the rest of the brats on...
Or more like...
1. flat box 24'
2. 30 ft table
3. up box 20'
4. 24ft rollercoaster
5. 24ft flat
6. 30-35ft table (cant remeber if step down or not)
7. same thing as number 6
8. 32ft flat down
9. 30ft flat down box
10. 30ft table
Well Misty7 now you know how fortunate you are to have as many full time rangers as you do. MS has literally half the staff to run just as much acreage.
Damn Misty7 quick to call out other park crews just cause you're on one. Don't forget you're family with that crew. Maybe instead of talkin shit about your sister resort you could provide some insight as to how they could be more like you.
Mount Snow is 20 minutes South of Stratton, is 10 bucks cheaper, and has better parks if parks are what you are lookin for. If you want better steeps and trails and the more isolated experience, I agree with Jay Peak.
You know in the long run it don't matter who pays for the damn thing... I was just trying to point out that the people on the hill are the ones responsible for how the halfpipe turns out. CVA's friends could put forth a million bucks and still get a crappy halfpipe- because it is the expertise...
I'm sorry, are we talking dirt or snow? Dirt, yes an Alumnist of CVA put up the money for the excavation project.
Snow, however, was made and pushed by the snowmakers and groomers, who were not paid by CVA. I can tell you that first hand.
