Anyone been to a basin on opening day? Is there a couple rails set up usually? Is it worth going even if I’m missing the snow, or is it gonna be super crowded and shitty

Looking to make the drive to coppers public "big island" park this weekend, just curious how the conditions are, how many rails they have up, and just overall how it is?

Need a little advice on what I should do next year. I don't know if I should stay in Denver and just go to school there, or just go to Colorado mountain college in summit county for a year(since it's just pre requisite classes anyways) and ski a lot more and save some money while I'm at it
