i ski quite a bit of powder - which is why i will get some moships when i can afford em. i figure if i build up two pairs of skis starting now in sept, by the time the good stuff starts falling from the sky, ill have my all mountain skis good to go and my powder skis good to go. bring em both...

    new package..some issues

with 178s i was completely comfy with spins and grabs and steeps and the bumps. last year i ran a set of 155 1080s and they felt way to short when cruising through anything deeper than 5 inches. then again, i also had a pair of 135 1080s for the park :) 176 should be just about right for me-...

i decided on the 176 sprangs. its a bit narrow compared to the moships (running at 78mm instead of the 98mm) but I feel it will suffice. If i really need a super fat ski, then I will turn around and pick up a pair of moships. 186 is way to long for me. as much as i like going 300mph, its...

    new package..some issues

for those that care... i settled on the 176 sprang pros as my all purpose ski. the 78mm waist should prove to be fat enough (rode 1080s last winter so its a big difference) for powder, and i know they can handle park riding like a champ. thanks for all the help tho!! -sean

I can probably acclimate nicely to 186's but I'm a bit hesitant to give it a try, ya know? the 186s will run about: 6.1023622 feet :) thats a good 6 inches above my head!! Ive had horrible experiences with any of the scratch skis..they have all delammed on me so quickly... looks like its...

    new package..some issues

the issue with the pollard pro's is they are 186 long and im only 5'4'; so they would be just a tad to long :) the mo-ships are 172 and the sprangs are 176. i was looking on line's site for specs on the pollards, but they dont even list them *shrug*.

    new package..some issues

cool! glad to know :) im taking my mo-ships to a line tech and having him mount the bindings...that way its done correctly the first time. -sean

..so from a previous post someone got me thinking... instead of having two skis, why not just consolidate 2 pairs of skis into one. (motherships and sprangs into pollard pros) this solution is a great one...except one twist.. the pollards only come in 186 and im thinking that may be to long...

    new package..some issues

**warning** this is long **end warning** So I am in the process of getting my gear bought up for this season (I broke last years gear in many pieces so it's time to fork over the money) and I have run into a few issues. Boots were easy - get a new pair of 1080s. i loved them, and decided to...
